The Process

Initial Consultation

You may contact us at 479-414-2144 or via email at kade@kadelaws.com to schedule an initial consult.  Our business hours are by appointment only from 9AM – 4PM, Monday through Friday; All correspondence should be limited to these business hours.

During the initial meeting, we will discuss the scope of the project, availability, budget, and timeframe.  There is no charge for the initial consultation (up to 1 hour).

Initial Estimate

Kade Laws Interior Design & Remodeling can provide a project estimate based on the scope of work discussed during the meeting. There is a fee of $150-300 for the initial project estimate which includes an approximate cost for labor and materials for each area of construction.  Full payment will be due before services are rendered.

KLID will create a project list with material /labor needs and submit to subcontractors /suppliers for pricing.  The initial estimate will provide the approximate cost for your project and will be emailed for your review within 10-14 business days.  If you have questions and / or wish to discuss the initial estimate, you may schedule a meeting at our office in Magnolia Springs.

The next step is the Project Design Plan where we will fine tune the initial estimate by making specific material selections and finalizing designs. The cost for design plan services will be listed in the initial estimate. Should you decide to proceed with our services, a credit for the initial estimate ($150-$300) will be applied.

Project Design Plan

During the Design Phase, KLID will coordinate showroom consultations with our suppliers and we will meet to select exact materials for your project and finalize designs. Kade Laws Interior Design will schedule and coordinate all showroom consultations between customers and subcontractors between 9:00-4:30 Monday to Friday.

The design planning process requires 3-5 design consultations depending on the scope of work to be completed with one consult or showroom visit in each area of the construction. Multiple visits or changes to the design and/or selections will result in additional design time requiring a change order. Once our consultations have been completed, final material selections and designs will be collaged organized, and printed for the Final Design Plan / Project Portfolio.

Final Contract Estimate

Once the Design Phase has been completed, the Initial Estimate will be converted to a Final Contract Estimate based on your final selections during the showroom consultations and design meetings. You will receive, via email, the Final Contract  Estimate with contract, terms, timelines, and a digital copy of the Design Plan.

Upon approval, KLID will meet with you at your home to review and finalize the details of your project. A 50% deposit of the Total Project Cost is required a minimum of 30 days prior to project start date for ordering materials and scheduling subcontractors as outlined in the project timelines.

A project CHANGE ORDER will be created for any changes/ or additions to the project after the final contract has been finalized. Full payment will be due upon approval of any change order and may require additional design time. Additional design services due to change orders will be billed accordingly and due upon receipt.

Production Phase

The success of each remodel project is greatly dependent on the Design Phase which captures and transforms your vision making it a reality. Keeping the lines of communication open during your project is vital to a successful project. We will provide weekly project updates during the production phase. Our goal is to bring the design plan to life as outlined in your Final Contract Estimate.
